Products and applications

Chamber slide

Featuring removable medium chambers, the Thermo Scientific Nunc Lab-Tek and Lab-Tek II Chamber Slide systems allow you to seed, incubate, fix, stain and image on a single microscope slide, saving time and labor in the immunohistochemistry work.

Chambered coverglass

Thermo Scientific Nunc Lab-Tek and Lab-Tek II Chambered Coverglasses feature chambers mounted to coverslips to provide optimal characteristics required for high magnification, confocal, and live imaging analysis.

Glass bottom dish

Thermo Scientific Nunc glass bottom dishes combine the convenience of standard 35 mm cell culture dishes with the optical characteristics of coverslips to solve commonly encountered issues during live-cell imaging, such as medium evaporation and contamination.

Flask on slide

Thermo Scientific Nunc Flasks on Slides provide suitable solutions for cell karyotyping using single cell autoradiography or single-cell immunofluorescence.

Growing and staining cells on Lab-Tek II CC2 Chamber Slide System

A chamber slide consists of a removable media chamber attached to a slide treated for adherent cell culture. It allows for growth and staining of cells in one go. The Lab-Tek II CC2 chamber slide features a chemically modified growth surface that mimics the characteristics of poly-lysine coating.

Coating chamber slide and chambered coverglass with extracellular matrix (ECM)

Some primary cells and fastidious cells (e.g., human hepatocytes, PSCs) require the presence of proper ECM substrates in order to attach, proliferate, differentiate and function. Additionally, rinsing steps during the immunostaining sometimes wash away the loosely attached cells.

To help solve these issues, read this protocol
